About Wellspring

African but with European Support

Wellspring Africa is a multi-faceted East African based mission group developed in partnership with European Churches and organisations. Our original and main base is in Bweyogerere, a town 9km east of Kampala, Uganda. We also have two new bases in Dar es Salam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya.

As well as enjoying close working relationships with many churches across Europe, Wellspring Africa has strong links with indigenous African church ministries such as Deliverance Church, Uganda, Gods Centre of Blessing and Life Ministries International.

The work of Wellspring is based on the following core principles.

An Apostolic Ministry - birthing ministry, establishing the kingdom in the hearts and minds of men and women following the biblical principles of the fivefold Ephesians 4 ministries.

Foundational - Digging up poorly laid foundations and relaying good foundations based upon the Word and the Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:10-12, Ephesians 2:20).

Team Based - Committed to fulfilling the biblical model of fellowship and accountability in team (Romans 12:10, Philippians 2:3, Galatians 5;13, 1 Thessalonians 5:6, Hebrews 10:24-25, Colossians 3:13, Philippians 2:14, 2 Timothy 2:24, James 5:16).

Servanthood - Believing that the greatest honour is to serve others, and that we are here to sow in to to the Body of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:2, 1 Thessalonians 2:7-9).

Faith Operation - Established because of the promises of God, relying daily on his provision through friends, business connections and fellowships around the world (Romans:1:12-17).

Wholistic - Presenting the gospel as salvation for the whole person, body, soul and spirit in their social, political, economic and religious contexts following the example of Jesus when he announced he was anointed by God to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour (Luke 4:18-19).
